Inhalt
The university course “Psychosocial Competence in Organizations” prepares managers for the demands of modern and future-oriented leadership. The focus is on promoting healthy, psychosocially oriented leadership. Based on scientific principles, practical topics and coping strategies are taught to strengthen occupational health management and meet the requirements of the Employee Protection Act.The course is aimed at managers, aspiring talents, HR managers, and employees who want to further develop their leadership skills and adapt them to the needs of the “New Work Generation.” Participants learn methods for results-oriented and employee-centered leadership that promotes personal responsibility and supports the new lifestyle of employees. In addition, topics such as multi-generational leadership and workation are covered in order to meet the current and future challenges of the working world.
The university course comprises two semesters with a total of 160 teaching units and consists of three modules that build on each other. Attendance is compulsory for 80% of the course, but individual modules can be made up.

Course 9: Coaching and conversation skills and

Project
The project work represents a workload of 50 to 60 hours and includes finding a topic and specifying it in the last course, independently preparing the literature, and writing a paper of at least 25 pages.Completion
The university course is completed with full attendance (at least 80%) and the submission of the seminar paper with a certificate entitled “Graduate of the University Course Psychosocial Competence in Organizations.” The certificate is awarded by the Sigmund Freud Private University Vienna.The following options are available for completion:
(1) Participation in individual modules - issuance of a certificate of participation for individual courses
(2) Participation in the entire course (without project work) - issuance of a certificate of participation for the entire course
(3) Participation in the entire course (with project work) - issuance of the certificate “Graduate of the University Course Psychosocial Competence in Organizations”
Optional certification
(1) The prerequisite for admission to certification is successful completion of the course and acceptance of the project work.(2) The project work (see above) represents a workload of 50 to 60 hours and at least 25 pages.
(3) Attendance of at least 80% of the course is mandatory. Attendance at the first course is mandatory for participation in the course.
(4) The cost of certification is €250.
(5) ECTS credits are possible.
Organization
(1) If all modules are completed within two semesters, the total participation fee for the entire course is €3,990.(2) Up to three individual courses can be completed/booked. The fee for each course is €390.
(3) The certification costs are €250 per certificate and participant.
(4) Travel, accommodation, and meal costs are not included.

Admission Requirements
Admission Requirements
A university entrance qualification is considered a recommended prerequisite, while a degree in subjects such as economics or psychology or relevant professional experience, e.g. many years of management experience in a company, is particularly welcome. A C1 level of German is also required for understanding the course content. The final decision on admission is made by the program director in a personal interview.
